Beauty Gonzalez is enjoying her beautiful life as a wife, a mother, an actress and now a certified yoga teacher. She looked gorgeous during her recent guesting on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”
The actress has been happily married to art curator Norman Crisologo since 2017. Beauty only had good things to say about her husband during our conversation.
“I thank Norman kasi he helps me in a lot of ways. Na-enjoy ko talaga pagiging mom ko kasi supportive siya,” she said. “He lets me do my work. He doesn’t pressure me. He’s so relaxed. Kahit nasa trabaho ako, hindi ako nag-wo-worry kung kamusta si Olivia kasi alam kong andiyan iyong daddy niya.”
Beauty is fortunate to have a fan in Norman, who watches “House of Lies” daily. He understands her work as an actress, which sometimes requires her to do intimate scenes with co-actors. They complement each other because Norman is into the arts.
“Naiintindihan niya lahat ng ginagawa ko and full support siya. Actually, siya din iyon nagbabasa ng script ko minsan,” she shared. Norman encourages her to take on a project, if there’s one, because it could be favorable for Beauty’s career growth.
Their beautiful daughter, Olivia, is growing up fast.
“When I had her in my life, dumating lahat ang mga breaks ko sa trabaho,” Beauty said. Olivia portrayed the younger version of her mom’s character in the movie “Paquil” last year.
According to Beauty, her daughter is currently busy with her circle of friends.
“Ngayon ko nararamdaman na hindi ko na siya pwedeng hatakin anytime.”
Beauty is a supermom who manages her time efficiently both at home and at work. She plays Marj Torrecampo in her latest afternoon series, “House of Lies,” with Kris Bernal, Mike Tan and Martin del Rosario.
“Iyong character ko dito, isa siyang babaeng loving sa family niya,” she said. “Sobrang mapagbigay. My character is really special to me kasi she speaks Bisaya, too. (For) most part(s) of the show, I speak Bisaya. Iyong kwento nagsisimula sa kanya kung paano siya nagsumikap sa buhay and paano niya nakilala iyong mga Torrecampo and si Thea (Kris Bernal).”
The two actresses have great chemistry on the set, unlike their respective characters, who always clash in the drama series. I previously interviewed Kris on “Fast Talk,” where she talked about her admiration for Beauty’s acting prowess.
“I wanna thank her kasi she said such beautiful words. Thank you, Kris,” said Beauty, who is also grateful for the chance to work again with direk Jerry Lopez Sineneng. “House of Lies” is their fourth project together. “One of the best. I’m so thankful. Talagang there’s magic in all ng ginagawa niya.”
Beauty takes pride in being a certified yoga instructor now. She studied yoga for a month in Rishikesh, India. She explained, “I went there. Inisip ko kasi ‘pag Bali, tatakas lang ako, pa-party sa gabi. ‘Pag India, walang takasan talaga. I really love doing yoga kasi it has helped me physically, mentally, spiritually, and now that I’m a teacher, financially soon.”
Rishikesh is where The Beatles studied Transcendental Meditation under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1968.
Beauty recommended yoga for everyone, especially those who are coping with anxiety and depression, because it helps relax the inner self. She plans to conduct her classes someday when her busy schedule allows it.
She opened up about her goal for 2026. “To do more headstands and scorpion poses, and to share my knowledge of yoga with everyone.”
