McDonald’s employee threw hot coffee at customer over order dispute, N.J. police say

An employee at a Cape May County McDonald’s was charged with aggravated assault after he threw hot coffee at a customer, police said.

Investigators said the employee, a 40-year-old man from Cape May, got into a verbal dispute over a food order that escalated. The victim was injured by the hot coffee, police said
