Friday, July 3 – Roxey Ballet Brings History to Life on July 3rd with World Premiere of George Washington Crossing the Delaware During America250 Celebration. (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) — As the nation commemorates the 250th Anniversary of the United States, Roxey Ballet — the Delaware River region’s only professional dance company — will present the world premiere of George Washington Crossing the Delaware, a powerful new dance work celebrating one of the defining moments in American history. Performances take place on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Lambertville Station. Admission is free.
Friday, July 3 – Carteret PAC presents Hellfest. (CARTERET, NJ) — Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center presents Hellfest from July 3-5, 2026 with over 18 bands performing each day! Tickets are available per day or with a three day pass.
MPAC presents Free Summer Concerts. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) — Mayo Performing Arts Center’s Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.
Tuesday, July 7 – State Theatre New Jersey presents 2026 Free Summer Movie Series. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) — State Theatre New Jersey is proud to announce the return of the Free Summer Movie Series starting on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Tickets are FREE, but registration is required at STNJ.org.

Friday, July 3 – Low Cut Connie to Celebrate Album Release at The Vogel on July 3rd. (RED BANK, NJ) — Low Cut Connie was going to play the ParkStage show on July 3, 2026, but it was rescheduled due to the heat. Instead, he will celebrate the release of his latest album Livin’ In The USA at The Vogel. Doors are at 6:30pm, showtime is 7:30pm.
Saturday, July 4 – The Sandbox at Seastreak presents Badfish on July 4th. (HIGHLANDS, NJ) — Badfish is a vibe. Badfish is a sonic house party complete with plenty of gyrating fans sipping libations and enjoying various extracurricular activities. Simply put, Badfish is feel-good music. See for yourself when Badfish performs at The Sandbox at Seastreak on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at 7:00pm. It’s a great way to celebrate the holiday!
THEATRE
Arden Theatre Company presents “Dear Evan Hansen”. (PHILADELPHIA, PA) — Arden Theatre Company brings the Tony Award-winning musical, Dear Evan Hansen, to the F. Otto Haas Stage this spring. Featuring a book by Steven Levenson and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the production is directed by Terrence J. Nolen and co-conceived by Jorge Cousineau and Nolen. Performances begin May 21, the show opens May 27, and runs through July 5, 2026.
Classic American Tales’ presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday. (CAPE MAY, NJ) — From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.
Music Mountain Theatre presents “My Fair Lady”. (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) — Music Mountain Theatre presents the classic musical, My Fair Lady, weekends from June 12 to July 5, 2026. The tale of a cockney flower girl transformed into an elegant lady, featuring one of musical theatre’s greatest scores.
East Lynne Theater Company presents “Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters’ First 100 Years” by Emily Mann. (CAPE MAY, NJ) — The reimagined East Lynne Theater Company opens its Season Forty-Six with the extraordinary, real-life story Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters’ First 100 Years by Emily Mann, running June 18 to July 19, 2026 at the Clemans Theater for the Arts at the Allen AME in Cape May.
Surflight Theatre presents “Guys & Dolls”. (BEACH HAVEN, NJ) — Surflight Theatre presents what is considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, Guys & Dolls, from June 18 through July 5, 2026. It ran for 1,200 performances when it opened on Broadway in 1950. It received nearly unanimous positive reviews from critics and won a bevy of awards, including Tony Awards, Drama Desks and Oliviers.
Princeton Summer Theater presents “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”. (PRINCETON, NJ) — Princeton Summer Theater’s 2026 Children’s Show is You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, which runs weekends from June 20 to August 1, 2026. A beloved musical since its premiere in 1967, Clark Gesner brings Charles M. Schulz’s “PEANUTS” characters to the stage. The musical ventures through the highs and lows of young life, from baseball and homework to young love and friendship. With an empathetic and whimsical eye, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown reminds us of the importance of connection and joy.
The Ritz Theatre Company presents “Grease”. (HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) — The Ritz Theatre Company presents the classic musical Grease weekends from June 26 to July 19, 2026. Grease is a love song to the 1950s and a cornerstone of the American musical comedy form. The production is directed by Bruce A. Curless.
Ritz Theatre Cabaret Series presents “Dream On!”. (HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) — The Ritz Theatre Company continues its Cabaret Series with Dream On! on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 7:30pm. Curated by Connor Twigg, this event features regional artists singing songs from their dream roles.
Liberty Arts Theatre presents “The America 250 USO Tour” featuring a star-studded cast from Abraham Lincoln to Thomas Jefferson with music, dance, comedy and after party!. (LEONIA, NJ) — Liberty Arts Theatre will keep us all rockin’ in the free world with the high-octane celebration America 250 USO Tour – where Vaudeville meets American history – featuring a star-studded cast from Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson to George Patton, a live orchestra, song-and-dance numbers and comedy sketches. The America 250 USO Tour will march into the American Legion Post #1 (399 Broad Street) in Leonia on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 7:00pm.
Classic American Tales honors the 250th with “Margaret’s Diary During a Revolution”. (CAPE MAY, NJ) — “Before we retired to bed, an attempt was made to teach the children to pronounce ‘vegates,’ (how do you do?) like a German. Our good neighbors are a little concerned to think there is not one in the neighborhood who will be able to interpret for us when the Hessians are quartered here,” wrote Margaret Morris in her diary on December 21, 1776.
Princeton Summer Theater presents “The 39 Steps”. (PRINCETON, NJ) — Princeton Summer Theater’s 2026 season continues with The 39 Steps, a noir farce full of danger, mystery, and laughs. The production runs Thursdays through Sundays from July 2-18. The play is based on the 1935 Hitchcock film, a mystery thriller about a man who is mistakenly swept up into a world of spies and murder.
Broadway Theatre of Pitman presents Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville. (PITMAN, NJ) — Get ready to kick back and soak up the island vibes with a musical comedy packed full of Jimmy Buffett’s greatest hits—from “Margaritaville” to “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and more when the Broadway Theatre of Pitman presents Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville. Performances take place weekends from July 3-26, 2026.
Live On Stage Productions presents “Together Off-Broadway: Merman & Martin in Concert” at Cape May Stage. (CAPE MAY, NJ) — Live On Stage Productions presents Together Off-Broadway: Merman & Martin in Concert at Cape May Stage from July 4-10, 2026. This show celebrates the remarkable bond between Ethel Merman and Mary Martin — two of Broadway’s brightest stars.
American Theater Group and Union Arts Center present Spotlight on NJ: Play Reading Event. (UNION, NJ) — American Theater Group (ATG), in partnership with the Union Arts Center, will present a three-day Spotlight play reading event featuring works by New Jersey playwrights at the DMK Black Box Theater at the Union Arts Center from July 6-8, 2026 with performances at 7:00pm each night.
Surflight Theatre presents “Young Frankenstein”. (BEACH HAVEN, NJ) — Surflight Theatre presents Young Frankenstein from July 7-27, 2026. It’s alive! The electrifying adaptation of Mel Brooks’ monstrously funny film will leave you in stitches.

Friday, July 3 – Carteret’s Independence Day Festival to feature country star Walker Hayes. (CARTERET, NJ) — One of New Jersey’s most popular Independence Day Festivals will take place in Carteret’s Civic Center Park (100 Cooke Avenue) from 6:00pm to midnight on Friday, July 3, 2026 in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
Friday, July 3 – Trenton to Celebrate Nation’s 250th Birthday with “Heritage Week” Events. (TRENTON, NJ) — New Jersey’s capital city is preparing a monumental celebration to mark America’s 250th Birthday, and everyone is invited. “Heritage Week”, running from July 3-8, 2026, will feature a multi-cultural parade beginning 11:30am on July 4th with over 50 marching units, including 4 marching bands and 10 floats, as well as circus performers, antique cars and representations of the many cultures and ethnic groups which make up the Trenton community.
Saturday, July 4 – Bergen County presents 3rd Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular. (RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ) — County Executive Jim Tedesco, the County Board of Commissioners, and the Bergen 250 Initiative are excited to announce that Bergen County’s 3rd Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular will return July 4, 2026 at Overpeck County Park. All are invited to attend this patriotic afternoon of family fun which will include live music, children’s activities, over 20 food trucks, a beer and wine garden, carnival attractions, and stunning fireworks to conclude the evening over Overpeck Creek.
Saturday, July 4 – Washington Crossing Historic Park Launches Community-Wide Call to Support Expanded Independence Day Celebration in America’s 250th Anniversary Year. (WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA) — Washington Crossing Historic Park (WCHP) in Pennsylvania plans to host an expanded Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 4:00pm to 9:30pm featuring immersive living history experiences, family-friendly activities, live music, and the return of fireworks over the Delaware River. Designed as a community-wide celebration of America250, the event is intended to create a meaningful space for residents and visitors to commemorate this historic milestone year. Please note: Admission is required; registration is recommended only for the 4:00pm ‐ 8:00pm Living History Program. The evening concert and fireworks are free and open to the public; no registration is required to attend those portions of the event.
Saturday, July 4 – Bergen County’s Star-Spangled Spectacular Schedule and Parking Logistics. (RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ) — County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Bergen County Board of Commissioners, and the Bergen 250 Initiative have released parking, transportation, and event information for Bergen County’s 3rd Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular, taking place Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Overpeck County Park.

Riverside Gallery presents Keunhee Park: MAZE. (HACKENSACK, NJ) — Riverside Gallery presents a solo exhibition, MAZE, featuring the works of Keunhee Park. The exhibition opens from June 19 to July 6, 2026. Keunhee Park is a glass artist from South Korea, who received their BFA from the Namseoul University in 2006. His glass sculptures merge different materials and glass types for contrast, composition, and meaning.
Ocean County Library’s Lacey Branch To Celebrate the Local Art Community on July 6th. (FORKED RIVER, NJ) — The Lacey Branch of the Ocean County Library will host a reception in their meeting room for an art exhibition showcasing the works of the Arts Community of Lacey NJ (ACLNJ) on Monday, July 6, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. You can meet some inspiring local artists and talk with them about their work.
ARTS 14C presents “The Fabric of a Nation”. (JERSEY CITY, NJ) — ARTS 14C will open The Fabric of a Nation on Thursday, July 2nd, a textile and fiber exhibition mounted in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the United States. The show gathers fourteen artists who spent the spring grappling with the unfinished and often contradictory legacy of the American Revolution — and the 250 years that followed. It will remain on view through September 11, 2026.
ACC Gallery presents “Meet Under the Sun: A Dialogue from Afar”. (TENAFLY, NJ) — ACC Gallery presents Meet Under the Sun: A Dialogue from Afar – A Duo Exhibition by Artist Kim Jae-Kwon and Picture Book Author Gajikkot on display from July 6-25, 2026. This is a Dialogue Across Disparate Times and Spaces — Father and daughter bound by a shared creative DNA.
