Every weekday, the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer holds a “Morning Meeting” livestream at 10:20 a.m. ET. Here’s a recap of Tuesday’s key moments. 1. Stocks fell Tuesday as investors digested a slew of big bank earnings, while memory stocks, including Club name Micron , were also under severe pressure. “We’re in a situation where people are really lost here,” Jim Cramer said, pointing to the growing investor pessimism about the market. Jim referenced prominent investor Paul Tudor Jones, who warned on CNBC that 2027 might be a challenging year for the market. Jim sees things differently: “Rather than take the prevailing wisdom that everything has to come down, I look at the actual tape and think there are a lot of things that are going up” or can go up. We bought more Kimberly-Clark earlier. 2. Goldman Sachs shares were modestly higher after the bank delivered a strong earnings beat. Jim said, “This has been my favorite and remains my favorite of the banking group.” He praised Goldman’s ability to diversify its revenue streams, noting that the bank has demonstrated “that they can make a lot of money away from IPOs, away from M & A.” Fellow Club bank stock Wells Fargo fell over 1%, following a mixed quarter. Jim is still bullish on Wells: “We are playing a longer-term game and the longer-term game says buy Wells Fargo.” 3. Johnson & Johnson shares slid about 5.5% despite the company reporting a pretty solid quarter. Revenue rose about 6%, beating Wall Street estimates. Jim is not surprised by the stock move. He has previously noted that it trades poorly on earnings days. That’s why Jim feels comfortable recommending J & J for its great dividend and AAA balance sheet. “This is the chance to buy it,” Jim said. “You buy a hundred shares here. Then if it goes down another 5%, you buy another hundred shares.” Club members, check your texts and email inboxes for our full Club earnings analysis alerts on Goldman and Wells Fargo, as well as J & J coming in soon. 4. Stocks covered in Tuesday’s rapid fire at the end of the video were: JP Morgan Chase , Citi , United Health , and Domino’s Pizza . (Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust is long WFC, GS, MU, and JNJ.
