Kozak’s two-hitter advances Middlesex to GMC tournament semifinals – Baseball recap

Chris Kozak threw a complete-game shutout, scattering two hits and striking out three batters, as second-seeded Middlesex blanked seventh-seeded St. Thomas Aquinas, 3-0, in a Jim Muldowney GMC Tournament quarterfinal round game in Middlesex.

Kozak was efficient on the mound, throwing 89 pitches over seven innings while not allowing a walk. He also contributed at the plate, going 1-for-1.
