In this special edition, we’re taking a journey through public art in New Jersey with our digital documentary series “Painting Community.”
In this episode, we look at a Camden community art project by artist De’von Downes, who collaborated with members of the Resilient Roots Farm collective. The farm is a community garden that delivers fresh produce and food to people in the community, who live in a food desert. The organization recognizes the Vietnamese roots of its founders, as well as the Black and Latino communities that it serves.
