Red Bank community is grieving a 16-year-old who spent years giving back to youth football

The 16-year-old high school student who was fatally struck by a train in Red Bank on Wednesday morning was crossing the tracks on his way home from the YMCA, school officials said.

The boy, identified by community members as Terry Haupt, was a sophomore and student-athlete at Red Bank Regional High School.
