PIM Brands Inc. is giving one of its best-selling products a makeover this summer for America’s 250th birthday.
Ahead of the Fourth of July, the Park Ridge-based sweets and treats maker reintroduced a red, white & blueberry mix of its Welch’s Fruit Snacks brand.
A patriotic version of the popular Berries ‘n Cherries flavor, the blend originally launched for Fourth of July two years ago.
In 2026, PIM revamped the seasonal favorite for the once-in-a-lifetime event, according to Betania Neto, the company’s brand manager for seasonal items.
“America’s 250th anniversary represents a rare cultural milestone that brings communities together around a shared moment in history and we are excited to be a part of it,” she explained.
“As a brand rooted in family occasions and everyday celebrations, we saw a unique opportunity … Through commemorative packaging, fan activations, and patriotic-themed graphics, we’re creating delicious and interactive new ways for consumers to celebrate our nation’s birthday with us all summer long,” Neto told NJBIZ.
Enjoy your vitamins
Formulated with whole fruit puree and without artificial dyes, each 45-calorie serving is a good source of vitamins A, C and E, according to PIM. They are also gluten-free and fat-free.
A box of 26 fun size pouches sells for $6 at select retailers nationwide. According to a spokesperson, the item will be available while supplies last this summer.
