Real estate investor and YouTube star Kris Krohn is looking to part ways with his jaw-dropping 28,446-square-foot Utah compound featuring an indoor pool built on a hydraulic floor system.
Listed for an eye-popping $13,950,000, the six-bedroom megamansion, located in Woodland Hills, was commissioned by the social media influencer in 2017.
“The room everyone talks about is the indoor pool,” says listing agent Paul Benson of Engel & Völkers Park City.
“The floor is hydraulic. Lower it and you have a pool. Raise it and the same room becomes a ballroom with no columns, ready for a seated dinner or a wedding reception. The idea came from the O Theater at the Bellagio, and I have never seen it in a private home.”
The Summit Creek estate boasts two connected wings: an 8,446-square-foot “family wing” with a caretaker’s apartment, and a newly completed 20,000-square-foot wing where the pool/ballroom is located.
“The rest of the new wing is at that same level,” Benson notes. “There is a commercial-grade gym with a sparring ring for boxing and MMA, a racquetball court, and a full spa with a dry sauna, steam room, cold plunge, float room, and massage suite. There is an executive office with its own conference room, so you can run a company from home, and a second kitchen that opens to the ballroom for large events.”
The massive compound’s elevated location overlooks the valley, providing panoramic views of the Wasatch Range, Utah Lake, and Loafer Mountain.
“What impresses me most is that it still feels like a home,” he adds. “The family wing is separate, with its own kitchen, a great room with a two-story wall of glass, and a hot tub on the deck above the valley. You can host a big event on Saturday night and wake up to a quiet house on Sunday morning.”
For the auto enthusiast, there is also a 13-car garage.
“The garages total more than 5,500 square feet,” Benson says. “Most of that is a gallery for a car collection, with display platforms and a lounge, and there is a separate RV garage that fits a motorhome or the boat for Lake Powell.”
Benson believes the home will most likely be used as a primary estate.
“Much of what our team sells in Park City is a second home, and this is the opposite,” he notes.
“Nothing here is set up for a few weeks a year. You work here, train here, and host here every day. Utah County is also where people live full-time and build their companies, so I expect the buyer to make this their main home.
“The one exception I can see is a buyer from out of state who wants a base in Utah that is big enough to bring everyone together several times a year.”
Designed for grand-scale entertaining, the enormous estate would also be ideal for a professional athlete.
“The gym, the ring, the court, and the spa are what you expect at a private training facility, not at a house,” he says.
Benson believes the next buyer will be “someone who has built a business and wants everything in one place.”
“My guess is an entrepreneur or founder who already lives in Utah, most likely with a company in Utah County or Silicon Slopes, who works from home, trains every day, collects cars, and loves to host,” he adds.
“That person would normally need an office, a gym, an event venue, and a separate building for the cars. Here it is all under one roof, behind a gate. Either way, it will be someone who likes to bring people together, because that is what this home was built for.”
Located in an exclusive enclave with a residents-only clubhouse, private trails, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and pickleball courts, the property is just 15 minutes from Provo Municipal Airport and 30 minutes from skiing at Sundance.
“That combination is hard to find: a mountain setting, real privacy, and a short drive to one of the fastest-growing areas in the country,” Benson notes.
