Faith and Frosting Collide in “The Cake” at Bergen County Players (ORADELL, NJ) — Enjoy a touching and topical dramedy as love clashes with conscience in Bergen County Players’ (BCP) production of The Cake. The play, written by Bekah Brunstetter, producer/writer for the hit TV series This Is Us, is directed by Carol Fisher of Teaneck. It opens March 14 and runs through April 11, 2026 at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell.
Arden Theatre Company presents a Bold New Take on “Romeo and Juliet” (PHILADELPHIA, PA) — Philadelphia-based Arden Theatre Company presents Romeo and Juliet from March 5 through April 5, 2026 on the F. Otto Haas Stage. Directed by Barrymore Award–winning director Amina Robinson, the production offers a bold and resonant vision of Shakespeare’s iconic work. This reimagined work breathes new life into a story that confronts cycles of violence, power, and lost innocence, blending contemporary perspectives with classic Shakespearean elements.
Dover Little Theatre presents “Much Ado About Nothing” (DOVER, NJ) — Dover Little Theatre presents Much Ado About Nothing across three weekends from March 20 to April 4, 2026. This a comedy by William Shakespeare, revolves around two romantic pairings that emerge when a group of soldiers arrive in the town. The production is directed by Julieta Quinteras Amat.
October Ensemble presents the World Premiere of “Oh Sh*t, Sherlock!” (OCEAN GROVE, NJ) — October Ensemble presents the World Premiere of Oh Sh*t, Sherlock! weekends from March 20 to April 12, 2026 at The Jersey Shore Arts Center. The actor playing Sherlock has never seen the script. Hilarity ensues as the rest of the cast tries to keep the mystery on track!
Megan Thee Stallion to make her Broadway debut in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” (NEW YORK, NY) — Producers of the Tony Award®-winning, record-breaking Broadway hit Moulin Rouge! The Musical have announced that three-time Grammy Award-winning superstar and actress Megan Thee Stallion will make her Broadway debut in the production as “Zidler”, impresario of the titular nightclub. Taking the stage for a strictly limited 8-week engagement, Megan will light up the Al Hirshfeld Theatre from Tuesday, March 24th to Sunday, May 17, 2026, promising an unmissable, moment in the show’s legendary run.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents “1776” (MILLBURN, NJ) — Paper Mill Playhouse presents 1776, the Tony Award-winning musical, from April 1 through May 2, 2026. It brings the story behind the creation of the Declaration of Independence to the stage with witty satire, compelling drama, and a thrilling score. “The Startup” to have Workshop Production at The Flea Theater (NEW YORK, NY) — The Flea Theater hosts workshop productions of The Startup from April 1-19, 2026.
