Beaver bites 8-year-old boy who was fishing at N.J. lake

A beaver bit an 8-year-old boy who was fishing at a lake in Mahwah on Sunday, authorities said.

The boy was casting a line from along the shoreline at Lake Henry in Continental Soldiers Park at about 6 p.m. when a beaver emerged from the lake and charged at him, Mahwah police said.
