MANILA, Philippines — Janine Gutierrez says she has achieved her dream of being included in the roster of Star Magic talents.
The actress recently signed an exclusive contract with Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN.
During the contract signing, her mother Lotlot de Leon revealed that it has long been Janine’s dream to be part of Star Magic.
Lotlot mentioned this in a taped video message released for Janine, along with messages from her father Ramon Christopher and sisters Maxine and Jessica Gutierrez.
“You know that I will always be proud of you, and I’m just so happy for you for this wonderful milestone again. I know that signing with Star Magic has always been your dream,” Lotlot said.
“And I know by doing this it’s going to be another exciting new journey for you and your career,” she added.
Janine confirmed what her mother said and admitted that this was one of her long-standing dreams.
“I’m so grateful and happy to be here. Alam ng pamilya ko kung gaano ako kasaya at this moment and how grateful I am to be part of ABS-CBN, and now Star Magic,” she said.
“I’m just happy kasi parang it’s not just about the network contract signing for me, but also the beginning of my journey, especially with Direk Lauren [Dyogi] and Star Magic.
“I’m so grateful kasi alam ko kung gaano ka-supportive ang Star Magic family. Even though first time kong nag-punta sa office ni Direk Lauren, ramdam na ramdam ko na. So, ang laki ng pasasalamat ko.”
Her boyfriend, fellow actor Jericho Rosales, made a surprise appearance during her signing.
“I’m so happy because you have dreams and I know your dreams. A great family behind you, supporting your dreams at a great network. You’re in good hands,” Jericho said.
“This is her dream to sit beside Sir Carlo [Katigbak] and Direk Lauren. This is an amazing day for you and I knew how much you’ve wanted to seal the deal and to be part of this family. So this partnership is going to be amazing. And I’m looking forward to your films, to your TV projects, and everything that you wanna do. Have so much fun. I’m so proud of you. I love you,” the actor added.
