Healthcare comms and commercialization agency Lucid Group has hired Eric Muller as its new chief executive officer.
Muller comes from Publicis Health, where he was Group President and Chief Operating Officer, having also served stints at Digitas Health and Grey Advertising.
He succeeds Rick Sannem, who is shifting into a strategic advisor role for the agency’s board.
Muller’s first port of call will be “expanding talent, client partnerships as well as data and technological capabilities,” according to a release. This will include building out Lucid’s AI capabilities, a central element in all healthcare agencies for 2026.
“Healthcare is entering a new era, driven by extraordinary advances in science, data, and technology,” said Muller in a statement.
“Clients increasingly need a partner that turns complexity into clarity and impact by bringing together scientific expertise, creativity, and strategy, along with the power of data and AI. As data multiplies and development accelerates, knowing which evidence matters and what creative output will persuade is the part that becomes critical.”
