Anderson was taken to the hospital and died from his injuries Sunday afternoon.
The Florida Highway Patrol will investigate the crash, the sheriff’s office said.
“The loss of life is always tragic. My deepest sympathies are with the entire Anderson family,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement. “This tragedy weighs heavily on our entire Sheriff’s Office. We are committed to supporting a thorough investigation.”
