It’s the first Monday of May, which means we couldn’t be more excited for our annual sit-on-the-couch-in-our-sweatpants-and-critique-celebrities’-Met-Gala-looks viewing parties. Held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate and fund the new 2026 Costume Art exhibit (with a big focus on various body types), celebrities and their designers first gather on the red carpet (this time a beige brick with grassy green pops) to show off their most extravagant looks, post-awards season. And this year, the dress code is “Fashion is Art.” This is open to a lot of interpretation, but we’re predicting a range of walking Picassos and Monets.
